EDUCATION GOES TO THE HEAD OF THE CLASS Putting champions of literacy in the forefront
Bridgeport/Middletown, Connecticut-We are now in the planning stages of hosting our annual celebration of education in the cities of Bridgeport and Middletown Connecticut, with the sole purpose of acknowledging the achievements of all who dedicate their lives to the advancement of students and those who are determined to excel through education.
WE WILL STOP AND TAKE A MOMENT we would like you to take a brief moment out of your busy schedules and join us in recognizing everyone who tirelessly insure that educational needs are met.
How will we accomplish this?
For the past ten years, we at the March For Education Foundation invited all who championed educational values to stand by a child in our annual march through the streets.
The march symbolizes walking with them through life’s challenges and successes as a community while bringing the ideals of literacy to the forefront.
HEALTHY PATH
This is an attempt to build a healthy foundation geared toward their love of learning and to accept a path of higher education.
WHY WE CELEBRATE EDUCATION
We at the March For Education Foundation, understand the value of celebrations, when it comes to taking pride in a National, Patriotic, and Cultural holidays. These celebrations stand out in our hearts to remind us of the importance and seriousness of the special cause or event.
Our mission is to spotlight the importance of literacy through an annual celebration of education. It allows us to recognize everyone from the politician that stands up for the funding of schools, to the janitor that insures all who want to excel in education has a clean environment for learning. Including other types of education such as homeschooling and online classes.
When we hear of a March, we think of protesting or unrest, but at the March For education Foundation, it means a lot more; it means power, and sharing the same ideals. Therefore each year we March in unity to celebrate the most important part of a healthy community, literacy.
